AT&T Gaming Mobile App Hackathon in Seattle

AT&T Mobile HackCalling all developers, designers, gamers, creative-types, and anyone else in between! After a wildly successful hackathon in April, the AT&T Developer Program is returning to its home and hosting a gaming-themed Mobile App Hackathon in the Seattle area on July 20th-22nd at the Surf Incubator in the Exchange Building of downtown Seattle.

Mobile App Hackathons are events produced by the AT&T Developer Program that are designed for attendees (technical & non-technical) to build apps/mobile apps, get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly: meet new people and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects. Our hackathon will introduce you to the latest cutting edge tools to help deploy your own app with a website backend, fully hosted in the cloud.

As far as platforms are concerned, feel free to code in the language you feel most comfortable, whether it’s Objective C, Java, Javascript, HTML, C #, Dot Net, or XNA. Even if you are rusty with your programming, we will have live developer support from local senior developers as well as from AT&T to help you code that much faster.

We’ll kick off Friday night with free food and mingling, and then presentations by industry insiders and ingénues. Saturday morning is when the real fun begins, with an all-day coding event where cool ideas come to fruition. The teams’ hard work will be judged on Sunday afternoon, followed shortly by announcing the winners and awarding the prizes.

If you like new ideas and working in a team, sign up for the AT&T Mobile App Hackathon! To RSVP and for more details, check out:  http://mobileapphackseacc2012.eventbrite.com/
