My grandfather used to say: “Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt!” While I’d prefer to not be perceived of as a fool, I have yet to master his advice. In my quest to honor his words, I discovered TheBestThingThisYear. In short, TBTTY is a members-only mailing list with one special difference: once a member posts, they must wait one year before they can post a second time.
