Later this month Mayor Mike McGinn will be hosting a roundtable discussion to talk with a small sampling of members of the local internet startup community about his priorities as well as the top issues that members of the community such as yourself would like to see the mayor and the City of Seattle work on.
We’re using Google Moderator to determine what those top issues are; if you’d like to contribute to that process, please take a moment now to either submit your own ideas or vote on the ones that others have submitted. At the end of the process we’ll choose the top 5 conversation topics from this thread, work on them from our end, and discuss them as agenda items at the roundtable (which will be covered by GeekWire). The goal is to focus on actionable items that are within the realm of possibility for us to be able to work on and that would really make a difference to you.
If you have any questions, please let Sol Villarreal, Community Engagement Manager, (Seattle.gov/mayor). They’re looking forward to hearing what you have to say!
