This Thursday night, GeekWire presents the Seattle2.0 Startup Awards, without a doubt, one of the best startup events of the year. Come and celebrate with the community’s movers-and-shakers, up-and-comers and thought leaders. They’re taking over most of EMP for an all-out party for startups!
At the Seattle2.0 Awards 2011, last years keynote speaker, Mark Suster (General Partner at GRP Partners) challenged Seattle to be better. ”Seattle should be the envy of any non-Silicon-Valley tech community in the country.” (TechCrunch) This year, come together and celebrate Seattle for being nothing less than the best city for startups! Mark encouraged “wantrapreneurs” to get off the sidelines. Showing up to this event is a great way to start.
The community submitted hundreds of nominations on different categories and to help decide the winners, GeekWire hand-picked what can only be described as “Seattle’s best”! The judges include:
These judges are experienced Startup entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and more…and yes, they’ll be at the awards! As a Startup, do you really think you can afford to miss this event? Out of all the startup events that happen every year, it’s incredibly rare to see that many influencers in one room, ready to party, and guess what…you’re invited to party too.
I had a lot to say after last years show, but one thing is for sure…to all you Seattle Startups, Seattle2.0 and GeekWire, I fully support your movement and am excited…no…HONORED, to be a part of it!
Now, enough reading, enough talking…it’s time to party. RSVP and sign up here before it’s too late!
